Lost all of my PJ music

So I was transferring my music from an old external hard drive to a new one in case the old one ever crapped out, and it decided to do just that DURING the transfer, so basically all of my digital music from letters P-Z is GONE. That of course means a bunch of PJ, including all the Vaults and official boots I downloaded with yearly Analog codes (among a ton of other stuff which I am not as concerned about). 

Looking through my account, I can not find anywhere how to access my old downloads. I see the yearly singles, but nothing else (no Vault 11 Atlanta show, for example, which was recently sent to members). Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks much. I couldn't begin to tell you what the downloads were, but I know for sure all of the vaults would be a great start.

    I could have sworn your member page used to host more downloads than just the singles, but I could be crazy.

    I'd be happy to help out. not just with PJ. this has happened to me before too, and I know how devastating it can be, especially stuff that isn't easily available on streaming platforms. list what you're missing (as much as you can remember) and let's get this guy his music back!

    Thanks, Hugh. Yes, it is a total bummer. Everything alphabetical from P-Z is gone, which includes any band whose name starts with "The," which is a ton! Some of the obscure stuff that I have on vinyl or vinyl RSD titles with no download that I spent way too much time finding downloads of is probably the most annoying...I can get The Band discography back with not a ton of difficulty, for example B)

    So if it is good and starts with P-Z, I'm probably missing it!

    I feel your pain.  Back in the MP3 days I lost the drive I had my music collection on.  When I rebuilt in in flac, I started making backups.  One copy on my PC, another one on an external drive plugged into the stream box (shield) in the living room, and from time to time I update the backup I have stashed at my office in case something happens to the house.

    It's so much work to rebuild a collection like that :(  I think that's why other people drifted towards streaming :(

    I hear ya. I like having everything organized in my own files as opposed to streaming, but maybe this is a sign? NO! Will not give in yet! Mostly I like having on the go copies of stuff I have on vinyl, which is where my music $ goes for the most part.

    I know boots I bought with my analog code I was able to redo a load a couple years later. Might want to check your download/purchases and see if you can.

    Just checked out of curiosity and Looks like I can download any music I bought and downloaded from 10c. Go to my purchases, when you see your boot/vault click “view details” and it will take you to a download link.

    No problem. Sounds like you got a lot of help with downloads, that’s probably easiest. But if you want to go a physical route, you can mail me a thumb drive and I’ll fill it and send it back. Some flac, but mostly good quality mp3 boots I burned directly from the CD and my non-audiophile ears can’t tell the difference. PM me if interested or want a list.
