Record player problem - solved! Huzzah
Hi everyone -
The problem: All of my records are skipping at various spots when I play them. I clean all my records prior to playing, VTF scale is reading 1.75 as recommended and I even went up to 2.00 for testing purposes, and I have the onzow stylus cleaning kit.
This was a pretty random occurrence as I only play a record maybe once or twice a week and then bam one day I try out some records and all of them are having an issue. I tried brand new records, records I know have had zero flaws before, and even old records where I know exactly when to expect the flaw and the problem persists. It’s a u-turn orbit and it has been in the same place it has always been for the 9 months I have had it with no issues til now.
I have read that maybe the anti-skate system might have a problem, but I believe on these tables that isn’t something that can even be adjusted so im not sure how it would have messed up.
Anyways, any thoughts through your experience?
Thanks!

The other four are in the den, my work/jam room, daughter's room, and the attic (though that one will soon head down to my son's room).
