From the veterans especially, who do you feel are the most respected posters on this board? Reasons might be quality of posts, trustworthiness, helpfulness, or just generally good people.

I'll start by listing the obvious: Kat, Sea, Rubysdad, and Santos L. Halper...who else?

Edit: On an unrelated note, oh shit...I just became Faithfull. Woohoo!

What about walkunafraid? He/She did all those survivour threads that were the talk of the town for a while.

    I'm pretty cool too!

I think of you as a reliable regular, walkunafraid.

Other people I've never met whose posts I really appreciate:

einatshaul - most deserving of a Kenyon Hall ticket (you too, aNiMal), glad you guys got in. I think I spotted you at the Spreckles but was too shy to introduce myself.

OneLove and Solat319 for their beautiful April Fool's fanviews and all around positive energy and enthusiasm.

patrickredeyes and WolfBear seem like a good guys who know their stuff.

Amentschick and 3inputchick you crack me up!

A lot of the aussies are funny but I think I need a Australian/American dictionary.

I hope this doesn't come across creepy and voyeuristic. When you come here often enough you do start to pick out the regulars. (Hmmm..maybe I should do more work and less pit lurking)

Probably on the Moving Train side you have Abookamongstthemany and El Kebong driving the discussion and information. It gets pretty heated over there and they generally stay away from the namecalling (I hang my head in shame on the namecalling front).

Another 3 I'd like to mention for their general awesomeness: cutback, yamahita, and Ms. Haiku!

Also elwayvedder, who kindly hooked me up with a couple of the PJ bags from the East Coast tour!

Thanks :) I would consider you on my list too... I just think its hard to list people that you have respect for (many of whom I love dearly because they've been good friends of mine for almost 8 years) and not forgetting any names...

I do have to say though that I met my best friend on this board and many many of my good friends and people that have just been awesome to me on this board...

as a matter of fact Ima take this opportunity to tell this story..

Just last week I got a PM from stylo17 telling he had a surprise for me... and this is just outta the blue.. we've known for a while that we live very close here in Miami but we have never met before....

He didnt tell me what this surprise was but he did ask me for my address and told me he would drop it in my mailbox...
Sure enough on Thrusday I open my mailbox and I find a Pearl Jam towel (the ones they sold in Hawaii) I couldn't wipe the grin off my face the entire weekend....
He knew I loved the towel and that I wasn't able to get one and decided to part with an extra one he had and made my day... :D

Just like stylo17 there are so many members of this board that are just fucking awesome! :D
