STG Presents A SMASH Benefit: Songs of Hope LIVE Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at The Moore.
Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare, known as SMASH, celebrate coming back to live music with their fourth annual SMASH fundraising benefit concert: Songs of Hope LIVE.
SMASH’s mission is to keep local musicians healthy, and we do this by providing access to free and low-cost medical, dental, and mental health services to low- and limited-income working musicians.
Curated by Seattle music non-profit Black Fret, SMASH’s 2021 highly anticipated show will feature live performances by:
Dave Matthews, Tomo Nakayama, Sera Cahoone, Shaina Shepherd, Duff McKagan, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Ian Moore, Brittany Davis, Stone Gossard, Zan Fiskum, Alec Shaw, Shelby Earl, Beverly Crusher, Naked Giants, Eric Howk (Portugal the Man), Julia Massey (Warren Dunes), Kim West & Ryan Devlin (Smokey Brights), Mike Musburger, Rebecca Young, Paul Hiraga, Tim DiJulio, Jefferson Brown
This incredibly talented gathering of musicians will play songs that bring hope and joy. A few of the songs from SMASH’s 2020 virtual benefit event will be featured, along with new unique musical pairings to create a full evening's worth of incredible one-of-a-kind performances. You will experience venerable artists you know and love, as well as discover new up-and-coming artists that will become your new favorite musicians.
SMASH’s live in-person events in 2018 and 2019 sold out and hailed as “one of Seattle’s best new concert traditions” by the Seattle Times. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to experience this unique and one-of-a-kind performance, all in support of local musicians' health.

He hung around at the edge of the stage for her performance of Foxy Lady (Hendrix). Dancing with crossed arms like a penguin
He then also said a few words of gratitude for SMASH and the people behind it.
