Now on to the FINALS
With this 'WEAKEST LINK' I decided to go with the spirit of "Halloween" and decide on the BEST STEPHEN KING MOVIE. I understand that many great films have been adapted from King's works. I purposely left off three of my favorite King adaptions, Stand by Me (1986), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), and The Green Mile (1999). I just didn't feel that these fell into the theme I was looking for. So, pick the film that you think is the WEAKEST LINK from the ones provided.   Again, thanks to everyone who plays.

Now to the 3rd Round to determine the BEST of these Stephen King films.

I'm voting against The Shining because it's not a "Stephen King movie"; it's a "Stanley Kubrick film."

I realize how that sounds. And I don't give a fuck.

Also, it's would be a nice win for De Palma, who, as we all know, forgot everything he knew about filmmaking a few years later on the set of Scarface.

Carrie is more of a Stephen King movie because De Palma, similar to King, assumes zero intelligence on the part of his intended audience.

Landslides are always a bit of an embarrassment in this sort of thing, Dreamgirl, so you helped the loser to save face a bit!
