I just got this one! I love lyric tattoos and such, but am way too big of a baby to get one! I was struggling between "that what you fear the most will meet you halfway", "no matter how cold the winter, there's a springtime ahead", and "i'll ride the wave where it takes me" and I honestly couldn't pick just one, so instead I did some research and found this letter that Eddie wrote to Johnny Ramone after he'd died and he drew a little wave. The more I researched, the more often I found the wave. So I got it and I love it so much! It's Pearl Jam and it's Eddie and I think it's so beautiful!

I don't really have a Pearl Jam tattoo. Mike is my role model/biggest inspiration in my life.. For years I've always wanted to get a lightning bolt on my wrist for me. So I have that. Nothing great but it holds a lot of meaning.
My brand new (first) tattoo... it requires some healing and maybe some fine tuning in a couple of weeks... but i'm happy with what the result!

Just started work on the left arm, so work in progress...yes and I know Stickman has some mileage with tats, but he's been with me a long time. So I didn't care... The lines on the side match the left arm..
the XXX is the Amsterdam Flag and of course the bridge is in the same theme.
The Netherlands and Amsterdam specifically holds a special place in my heart, not just for seeing PJ there, but the city/country helped me through a bad time, when I was searching for myself and direction in my life. ...... long story.......but this is in part my tribute to PJ music and Amsterdam for helping save my life..
I'll post updates as I get them.. still a few sessions to go...

There also the fact that I have a ICD implant that will shock my heart if it goes outta tune .... =(( ....Seriously. So the Lightning Bolt has multiple meanings to me.
