state of love and trust

When I heard the song on the rearviewmirror CD, I realized at once that it was a different mix than on the Singles Soundtrack. Personally, I really prefer the soundtrack's version, the other has too much effects on the vocals, I don't like it.

I thought the same thing too at first. But now actully like the one on rvm better just for the vocals being louder than the singles sdtk one. Breath still sounds the same to me on both of them.

The Unplugged version is the best I have ever heard. That was the first version I had ever heard and I was spoiled. It is an amazing song and in my top five of all time, but Unplugged is the best hands down.
Oh he fills it up with the love of a girl...

My absolut favourite version are the live ones. One of the highlights in Vienna. Really like when the crowd sing along.

Oh help me, help me from myself..
And I listen yeah for the voice inside my head..NOTHING
    I'll do this one myself..myself...myself

    This song's just fucking amazing.......
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.
  • SOLAT is pure energy...I love this song...makes me wanna jump and sing and live
...can´t wear my mask, your first my last...
  • It definately shows Eddie's angst!!! Ah the Nostalgia of the early 90's!!! I think a video for this song could've been very cool.
    "Darth Vader would say 'Impressive'."

Eddie loses his voice when he tries to sing the high parts on that song... and also, Stone's guitar playing isn't loud enough! :(
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!

that's true, but if you listen the whole unplugged its always like that, not about eddie's voice, but the guitars are too low, the same shit happens in the vh1 storytellers, i don't know why that keeps happening
