I agree (with the concept, if not the specific songs). And for what it’s worth, a guy I work with was at the show as well; he isn’t really a Pearl Jam fan, but he had the exact same reaction. So it’s not just us crazies.

Yea first three songs I just pulled out of my ass. One from each of the first 3 albums. You get the idea.

  • Sounds great, better than the mixing at the actual show. SBWM sounds like a beast, and Dance sounds way better on boot.

My favorite moment (I didn’t hear it at the show) was during Daughter, the “oh ohooohooo ohoohoo ohoooohohohoho” chant….Eddie says “ITS LIKE THE OLD DAYS”

I think they turned the crowd up on the boot, didn’t think it was that loud there lol

Crowd was awesome and very loud up front where I was (row behind the rail, Mike’s side). The chant during daughter was great and the energy was amazing. But I heard from others in other areas further back that the crowd was meh, especially during the Gigaton songs. So I think it just depended on where you were.

Was 20-25 rows back from the stage on Stones side. Front 10 rows near Mike looked good

Doubt it. The Spectrum set was historic for many reasons.

Every time I listen to this boot, I become more and more sure that the last two words sung during “Even Flow” are “VACCINATE REPUBLICANS!”

Three years without playing together and the band sound tight! The new songs mostly sound tremendous and will only get better.

I can't remember the last tour where the band sounded this good on the first night, right out of the gate. 2006?

I'm listening to Even Flow and I'm noticing Mike is mixed to the right speaker.  Is that usually the case?  I seem to recall him being mixed to the left on most boots (probably because of his stage left presence?)

That speaks to their professionalism, passion and dedication.  They could have thrown a few practices together and been respectable for 3 shows but they did more, Jeff talked about rehearsing for a month.  For 3 shows. Pretty impressive for a band 30 years into their career in my opinion.  Every time I see them now it’s hard not to be blown away with how really great they are. It just so great being at Sea Hear Now.
