    Was into aic more than pj back then. Was swallowed into dirt for a while. Sad what drugs did to Layne. Really amazed Mark L lived so long after reading that book. Lots of crazy drug use back then.

    I remember when aic opened for Slayer. I was a Slayer fan and didn't bother going in early for aic. I didn't like their name! Then I saw them at a lollapalooza and was won over.

    @Loujoe Mark's story is a sad one, it really is crazy he outlived his peers.

    @Loujoe It is sad what drugs did to Layne but the legacy he left behind is pure gold. One of my kids loves AIC & Mad Season, so I am getting to relive it all again.

    True. And honestly wonder if drugs were not involved would the music be as insanely good. Sadly I think drugs can make musicians and writers take things into another place that just plain rocks .  Odd but true
