PJs greatest lyrical CLICHE or ZEN mantra ;)

I love cliche's...most of the time they present simple truths that can have a great impact on my attitude or the way I am feeling.

One of my favorites that is used in I am Mine is:
"I know I was born, and I know that I'll die, the in between is mine.."


So, on which one do you dwell upon from time to time....?

For a none PJ one (translated from Dutch) "A soft response breaks a hard head..."
Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?

    Great song...!! How many of us haven't felt the same way with a friend or family-member at one point?!

    i just used this quote in a 500 word essay for my grad school app.

    "It makes much more sense to live in the present tense."

    Very simple....very true.

    The first thing that comes to mind is the song Arc. Although we can't really say it, I think we can feel what is presented. More zen than cliche, but I think it's a common phrase within emotional language.

    Just heard that yesterday and wanted to write it down here. I especially like the '..I smile, but who am I kidding' afterwards.

    there's a lot of lyrics that can qualify for zen, one in particular i've been enjoying as of late:

    how i choose to feel, is how i am :)

    Oh there are so many. I used to keep a notebook with one-liners from PJ songs that inspired me. I can't think of many off the top of my head, but here is one that sticks out.

    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    and in the same vain...

    I love inside job and the line i choose to feel,thing is for me,i dont choose to feel,i just do ,im rubbish with computers,sorry i couldt put a quote up for that,anyways my pers favourite line is ,hear my name ,take a good look, this could be the day,very inspiring,makes me feel like ,F@~k you man,you missed out
