What are you thinking about Reviewmirror? (the best-of album not the song) Did you buy it? I did'nt 'cause even if I am collecting the albums I think that Epic wanted to make a sale out and i didn't want to be part of it...... I think that the real best of is "Lost dogs". What are you thinking??
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

I got it for the new track and the fact that I didn't have breath as studio version. What do people think of the remixed songs?0

When I asked my brother if I could take his kids to the Pearl Jam concerts, he went out and bought Rearview Mirror for his daughter as an Easter Gift. I think it's a good introduction to Pearl Jam. I think Lost Dogs just ROCKS, though. There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird0 -
I have it (CD and vinyl)...
I wanted it for my "collection"...
The remixed tracks are good (even dirty frank is different as the previous version). And there's also breta studio version.
I Think it's worth buying it.
Sometimes I prefer to listen to a best of instead of one of the albums...2006: Antwerp, Paris
2007: Copenhagen, Werchter
2009: Rotterdam, London
2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter
2012: Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin
2014: Amsterdam, Stockholm0 -

RVM is actually what got me in to PJ a little over a year ago. It's pretty good for newbies, but there are lots of songs that could be on there that newbies would like more than, say, NAIS or Who You Are. But the remixes are good... not sure if it's worth the price alone, though. Maybe if you can find it for like $5.99 or something. It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0

I think the remixed songs are definately better. They seem to have been given more life.
(Don't get me wrong, the originals are great)
Also, i prefer the Lost Dogs version of 'Wash' to the Ten version.Dublin 23/08/06

I think it is a really good record since it has a good mix of tunes from every album, wich makes it a good record to use when you are out driving your car or something.
Also State of love and trust, breath and man of the hour doesn´t make it any worse.
Calling Lost Dogs a best of is not right is it?
I mean it is a kickass record, but.."The things you own will end up owning you"0 -
I was happy with it, but I think it would've have been awesome if it was three discs. Disc 1 was for all the rockers, and Disc 2 was the ballads. I think it would've kicked ass if Ten Club let all members vote on tracks for a 3rd disc to include fan favorites. THAT WOULD'VE BEEN THE SHIT!!!"Darth Vader would say 'Impressive'."

I bought "Rearview Mirror" through BMG, I think, about a year ago, in order to get "in touch" with the "post Ten" PJ. As an '80's and "big hair band" throwback (who STILL refuses to believe that Motley Crue is classic rock!) , and who originally bought and got into the "Ten" tape when it first came out, but later tossed it aside because all my "metal" friends thought it uncool... I needed some brushing up on my current PJ. Exactly 2-1/2 years ago, I befriended a lovely little lady at work (an EXTREME PJ Nut!) who has since become one of my closest girlfriends. I bought the CD in an attempt to "get" what she "got." It worked. I found myself loving even more than the "radio" hits that I had heard over time, and knew that THIS was a band I could love. (Good thing, too, since most of the bands I LOVED in my earlier days are no longer together!) Not very long thereafter, I bought ALL of their studio albums, and I keep them in constant rotation in my CD player so I can get to know all the songs... even if I can't understand what Ed is saying most of the time."Music is excellent therapy."0

i like how the volume goes up in GTF right at the chorus. but i didn't like the slight lyric change in 'who you are'. and it shouldn't have ended with yellow ledbetter(that's def. a lost dog track)Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self0 -
I bought it because of the new remixes, and for the collection tooonly love can break your heart
but only love can brake your fall0 -
When i bought this album i assumed PJ had broken up (like most 90's bands for one reason or another). Wasn't a big fan of PJ (or any specific bands) until i bought this album. After hearing this collection of hits i was hooked. I didn't know music could sound so good AND mean something. This band rivived my love for good music (LZ, PJ, A in C, ST mother fuckin P, John Lennon, etc. I guess this album meant alot more to me than most hardcore fans."Don't let the darkness eat you up..."

i didnt pick up on the lyric change in who you are. what is it?0 -
i think rearview is a good buy makes it easy for me if i just want some rockin pj or something a little slower depending on my mood and the remixes make it a good buy for any pj collection0

I bought it for the collection. Disc 1 is legendary. Personally, I would have had some different songs on Disc 2. Probably just a personal preference.
