30 Years since TEN was released August 27th, 1991 (But I have some questions)

Yeah, I know, we have a several weeks to go, but I figured I would start this now.

Well, hell, it's been 30 years since this gem was released (can't believe it) - time friggin flies.  I do have some questions though and would appreciate some feedback:

1) Why didn't Rick Parashar produce other Pearl Jam albums if the first was so successful?  Was it because the members of PJ really weren't fans of the sound or "reverb" and wanted to try a different sound?

2) PJ has only played Ten twice live in its entirety; once in 1992 in Munich, Germany and once in 2016 in Philadelphia.  Does the 1992 recording exist and which is considered the better show of the two?

3) Is Even Flow a continuation in any way in story form from the song Homeless from Ed's Bad Radio days?

4) Tim Palmer is credited on the song Oceans for performing the fire extinguisher and pepper shaker on the song.  Where is that done on the song?

5) If you could swap out one song that didn't make the cut of Ten during the album's recording sessions with one song that did make the cut, what would they be and why?  For instance, would you swap out Deep for Alone and why would you?

    I think you answered your question on number 1. Or at least partially. I thought there was a recording of the 92 Ten show. I thought that about question 3 as well. I tried listening for the fire extinguisher for some reason I keep thinking it's on Master/Slave. Probably Wash for Deep. But I think you need a harder song to go into Release so it probably wouldn't work. But who knows? If they had recorded the Singles version of SOLAT before Ten came out I would have said that one. Even though I like the Ten Demo version as well. But the Singles version is more polished

    1. I don't think there was any ill will with Rick, it's just everyone came from harder, grittier stuff. I love Ten, but the original version is a bit polished. I think the catalyst for switching to Brendan, was after peers like Kurt Cobain said as much. Vs., for the record, my favorite PJ album, is much rawer. It's crisp & mean, yet soulful & insightful. It was the sound they needed. Rick took his slick production to Maverick, and helped make the first Candlebox record a hit. Everything happens for a reason.
    2. There is... somewhere. I would argue the Philly show is better because as soon as you get to Alive THAT early, the crowd knew one of 2 things: 10% chance of an early Mamasan, and NINETY percent chance of "Oh, shit they're gonna play the WHOLE THING."
    3. Only Ed knows for sure.
    4. The shaker is definitely in the background of the subtle drumming. The extinguisher? Either that's the drum, or it's an in-joke.
    5. Everything stays. In fact, my perfect version of Ten has one addition: Footsteps (Jeremy single version from Rockline, end of side one of the vinyl). It paints the entire picture. The Perfect Ten (plus two).

    I wish there was a way Breath could have fit on Ten, perhaps as the opener. Once then moves to 3rd after Evenflow. State of Love and Trust would have fit nicely after Jeremy. Yellow Ledbetter would have been a nice album closer, but then you can’t have Release at the end. Just a testament to how great they were at that period.

    Parashner did Temple of the Dog as well, so it wasn’t a one off experience. I recall they wanted to
    capture more of a raw live sound on Vs.

    Footsteps over Oceans. Because Footsteps is great and Oceans is one song I've almost always skipped.
