PJ Bat Issue

Hope I don’t sound too crazy here.
So, as a collector, maybe you consider the original packaging to be part of the collectible, yes?
I just received a pj bat in the mail, but whoever packed it, put tape all over the original box, which couldn’t be removed without basically destroying the box..  wondering how bothered you’d be by this?  It’s kinda bothering me.

    Were there worse issues?  Were bats actually showing up broken?

    I could see how this would be a piss off. 
    As for broken bats I have not heard anything.

    Happened to me before on a pair of rare Jordan 1s. Seller sent the shoe box  wrapped in packing tape. 
    One solution for you would be to get a bat display box at Michaels. This negates the damage of the box in your enjoyment of the bat.
