Does anyone find that there are a bunch of songs that make themselves feel really Nostalgic?

Like, they remind you of good times of the past and make you wish you were back there.

For me its songs like Light Years, Sonnet(The Verve), The Scientist(Coldplay), Run(Snow Patrol) etc

    Started singing elderly woman behind the counter for no reason in work just now and reminded me of the day I bought the album and how there was no grey hairs back them

    Gotta be 'Alive Live' from the european release of Ten I've got, listened to it like crazy before I went to see them for the first time, trying to kinda prepare myself for the gig you know? It didn't even slightly prepare me for the amazement or emotion but damn it reminds me of last year when I hadn't seen them and I was soooooo excited!
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Listening to animal from the MTV awards..

    I was only about 6, i used to wake up at 5:30 on saturday mornings to watch my music countdown show. They played animal as the MTV version as it doesnt have a video. I loved this song and the video. but i didnt buy CDs. So i never rediscovered PJ until i got internet at 15 or something.

    All those lost PJ years. haha. So anyway listening to animal, or especially watching the MTV awards version gives me a weird feeling, and reminds me how i had a good taste in music even at that age..

    Im 20 now BTW

    ohhhhh yeah. ten reminds me of my college girlfriend. vs. reminds me of her too, along with commuting on I-384 outside of Hartford. vitalogy reminds me heartbreak and tampa/clearwater. no code reminds me of pepper spray at the 96 hartford show. yield reminds me of the treadmill in gold's gym in tampa. binaural and riot act remind me of rainy days in rhode island and the mansfield mass shows. pearl jam reminds me of getting my sister to see pearl jam for the first time and having an awesome time in hartford.

    and now that i think about it, just about everytime i've seen pearl jam, it's rained.
