low light

i have been listening to pearl jam for awhile, but i had taken a break from them for a few years and have just recently bought many of their cd's. i was just wondering if anyone could explain to me what low light is about, its one of my favorite songs..... thanx

Again, some of this is a stretch, but it's just personally what I think about.

Blimy, I never thought about it like that. I always imagined Low Light as being a kind of sequal to Last Kiss so kind of thought the alive person was the person "singing" the song. Now I'm thinking again...
