Announcing The Away Shows Missoula, MT stream!
From June 18th through June 21st, Pearl Jam will be streaming their August 13, 2018 Missoula show from Washington-Grizzly Stadium. This Pay-Per-View event will begin on Friday, June 18th at 8PM ET and will run through Monday, June 21st at 11:59 PM ET exclusively on nugs.net

Having already released both of the Home Shows, Pearl Jam is proud to unveil the 2018 Missoula concert as a part of the Away Shows collection to continue their support for organizations providing assistance to those facing hardships or experiencing homelessness.

What better way to kick of Fathers Day Weekend than by experiencing this 29-song show mixed in stereo and 5.1 digital surround sound by Pearl Jam Producer, Josh Evans. The never before seen footage includes rare songs and memorable covers and was captured with multiple High Definition cameras by videographer Blue Leach with additional editing by Pearl Jam archivist Kevin Shuss, making it specially edited for the best digital screening experience. Portions of the stream will be in glorious black and white.

So instead of actually playing just having all the fans hang out together in a venue to watch TV? Seems legit.

Seems like they're satisfying our demand for an in-person event without performing in an environment not yet living up to the pure concert experience they've built for 30 years. Solid compromise IMO considering that the festival dates will be here before we know it.

We have two shows scheduled for this fall.  Many people were confident we wouldn’t have anything until next year or even 2023.   Try to be patient.  More dates will be here before you know it.

I thought once you got vaccinated you would no longer be subjected to streaming shows.

I'm looking forward to this.   One thing Covid gave us was Pearl Jam being a bit more liberal with their concert videos.  Prior to covid we only had access to 1 official Pearl Jam convert video in HD.  Now there's 6 or 7?  I'm enjoying it.

    Streaming Missoula Poster?
It said there will be merch sold at the BBQ event. So 10Club will probably only get some leftovers online.

lots of travel to Missoula for a streaming event...not so good for the environment one would think? respectfully i question this one

You guys are really into questioning harm to the environment around here. Who was the guy that posted a link to that story of plastic thing every time some piece of merch went up for sale? (Which is not the same thing by the way as the issue is primarily single-use plastics)

If it was a live event, would that make it more acceptable?  I'd like to see the bingo card of acceptable travel reasons, to be honest.

if the band taught us anything, it is that use our free speech to respectively question everything and yes if live- more acceptable for sure

That seems arbitrary.  Protect the environment unless something really cool is happening.  To be clear,  I don't have a problem with either event

Unable to make the drive over for this event, unfortunately. I was at the show and lost out on any merch, so would definitely purchase online if they made anything available!
