1996 Budapest Ward Sutton Poster

Greetings and salutations fellow forum members, I am fairly well versed in values in the poster community but I would like to ask the community thoughts on value on this poster.  Yes, I am aware of Ward Sutton's file copy that sold on eBay last month, I was the under bidder.  How desirable is this poster and roughly what would be the value?  I have an opportunity to purchase one and I need to be educated.

Thank you in advance.

There are better people here that can put a specific dollar amount on it but I’m going to say it’s highly desirable.

If you look at the signed copy you mentioned that Ward sold on eBay… it sold for $5k while his 1996 Seattle signed copy “only” sold for $1250.  And the Budapest sold for $1500 more than Ward’s signed 98 Minnesota.  I know it doesn’t put a number on an unsigned copy but it does show the popularity relative to some other great posters.

I still grasp on why people pay a lot for this poster?
