Was on the bastards sight a minute ago trying to find out prices for msg/hartford and came across this.

$62-$42. I know that doesn't include the bastards charge but I though with tc tickets we didnt have to pay their charge?

We still have to pay the convenience fees when purchasing through 10 Club. They (10C) are just upfront about the total cost of the ticket instead of adding extra charges afterwards like Ticketbastard does.

Yeah it looks like it is close to the same price as on tickebastard, but i still feel better paying he ten club.

    no more shows
  • It is heavily rumored that in 2003 10c made a deal w/ticketmaster to make a larger amount of fan club seats available if we pay the fees.

try getting the first 10 rows from a scalper for 75.00

pay it and say thank you.
  • think we get better seats and good luck getting thru on tmasta we get 1st pic, better seats, no service and mailing fees which will add app $30 to a crapy seat, greatful for 10c seating!!

Does anyone think that Ten Club bought the ability to sell as many fanclub seats as members want to buy before public on-sale?

That might explain why tickets to every show are still available several hours after the club pre-sale. And it might also explain why Ten Club seats could cost a little more than the general public will pay.

Maybe not, but it's a thought I had.

ticketmaster allows only 4% of tickets to a fan club for any venue without fees.

before 2003 members had to pick one show. no fees.

Ticketmaster is the same as any greedy corporation. They don't give a fuck who they sell them to as long as they get their precious money.

ten club says "give us as many as we need, you get your fees". a break of the rules? Unfair you say?

that's the great thing about being a monopoly, you can do whatever you want.

    done deal.

Which makes more sense then the 4%or even 10% we were getting. Personally I'd rather pay the fee's and be garunteed the best seat possible for as many shows as i want.

I remember reading a 10c letter or post concerning that. I dont remember them saying outright, "We now have the ability to do this", but it was eluded to more than once that they could do something like that. At least in certain instances.

We were discussing this yesterday and once you add the fees for ticketmaster it works out a couple dollars more through TM and if you want them at your house then you have to pay shipping, so 10C is cheaper.

$42 is for lawn and 10C doesnt sell lawn

Maybe this is why there seem to be more 10c than previous years. Maybe they paid ticketmaster to have more fan club seats, but have to charge us a little extra.

Oh, hadn't noticed you saying that, but it definitely makes sense. Charge a little more, but more opportunity. Makes sense to me.

Maybe, but your seats won't be bad, regardless. Also, the most important thing is to be in the building.

I've had nosebleeds to many concerts (luckily not PJ) and if the band is rockin' hard, it can be just as much fun as sitting close up.

The only reason I want to go through ticketmaster is to get extra seating so i can bring a couple more friends, If the 10c offered more seating Id be buying solely through them in a heart beat, you can't beat the ability to get close tickets earlier than the general public for less than or equal to the price that the fuckers at ticketmaster will charge you, "Convenience Charge"?! you have to be fucking kidding me! 15 bucks because you put it online, give me a break. 10c all the way.
