Pearl Jam are offering fans an immersive plunge into the band’s live archives with their newly announced Deep, a digital collection of nearly 200 Pearl Jam concerts spanning from 2000 to 2013.

The just-launched Deep hub on Pearl Jam’s official site allows visitors to access 186 bootlegs and 5,404 tracks from the past two decades, with each gig accompanied by show descriptions written by members of the band’s Ten Club fan club.

In addition to the full concerts, Deep boasts fan-curated playlists like “Best of” Tours, “Covers”, the politically charged “Know Your Rights,” and more. Fans will also be able to create gigs via the Custom Setlist Generator — penned in Eddie Vedder’s unmistakable handwriting — with the dream setlist turned into a streamable playlist.

Has anyone attempted a custom playlist? With a handwritten set list?
I might be doing something wrong it reads to enter name and dob, I get name and choose city....but then there are only 24 songs to choose from.
Surely this can’t be accurate I know for certain I’ve heard songs live that aren’t on the list. Is it perhaps only songs played over the list of cities on the drop down so far?

I chose my city to be Philly. I then had it generate a playlist at random and BOOM, with Ed's handwriting it exported to my Spotify. I have a 24 song setlist each pulling from a different date 2000-2013!!!

I like the direction here -- keep going.  (videos please).
Not really free as you need premium subscriptions to spotify or apple music.

Do you need Spotify Premium or can you use a free Spotify account? I can't access my Spotify account from where I am right now to find out.

Spotify Premium for integration.   The boots themselves are available on Spotify Free with the normal ads.

  • These rando generated setlists are incredible. Do you think this was created to speed up the process for Ed?

I don't belong to any streaming services. You can't just play it from the DEEP site when you visit?

Thankful to be a part of this. If we got something wrong in the details, call us out on it. If you need more info:

Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.

Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)
