What will the first song be when PJ finally plays again??

I would have to believe whenever they can finally play live again, the first song will be something to do with the whole pandemic. Not just a standard Sometimes or Wash, etc. 

I’ll take the first stab and say Long Road. Think it’s apropos for a number of reasons. 

Other thoughts?

Sorry if this has already been a thread. If so, I missed it.

    DOTC more than likely if its off the new album

    Who Ever Said or Quick Escape would be solid openers. Alright would as well I think. 

    For non Gigaton songs I think Corduroy should get the nod or Long Road.

    Completely agree. That was the very first song that I thought of when I read your question.  "Long Road" indeed... it's perfect.

    I agree Long Road would be an amazing to open , can you imagine the energy at that show?  I would think most would have tears in their eyes while singing along. Like its going to feel amazing , its just amazing.

    If I had to bet, I’d bet on Release. Elderly Woman and Corduroy are probably the next two most likely. (And no matter what the opener, those latter two being played in the first five songs is a mortal lock). 

    But I still think they should go with an Alive opener for the first show back.

    Long Road is my guess. I’d love Corduroy going into DOTC but can’t go wrong with any of them.
