TAKE THE LONG WAY

Man! This song still blows me away! It will be a rocker if played live! God I miss shows!

I haven’t been a fan of Take The Long Way... but seeing the passion for it here makes me determined to give it another chance. =)

Usually I’m all for any PJ rocker but this one doesn’t do it for me. I think its placement on the album and its overly Soundgarden vibe mess with my impression of it

This is one I would initially skip when it came on. I finally gave it a chance and it has grown to be one of my favorite songs on the record. The outro section might be as good as anything on Gigaton.
  • My favourite track on the album. Love it.

On Gigaton, this and Never Destination are the two tracks that feel the most uninspired to me. Maybe doesn’t help that they are back to back after a great opening half of the album.

It's a Matt tune so it reminds me of Soundgarden.  The outro is kick ass

It grew on me the more I listened to the album. There are some killer parts that just keep bringing me back.

  • Guitar solo with Stone & Jeff behind it and then going into the outro is incredible.  The highlight of the record for me, anyway!
