Martin Custom D

Anyone on the board have one, or played one? From what I have read these are similar to a D-15 but with binding. Entry level for Martin for sure but I have a chance to pick one up for a grand ish Canadian. Solid mahogany back/sides and spruce top. Any feedback is appreciated!

While I don't have that particular guitar, I have and have owned in the past, several Martins. None have been bad purchases, even the lower tier X-Series. They sound and feel great, especially when compared with other guitars in the same price range.

For $1k, I think any American made, solid wood Martin is a great buy. If you don't love it, you shouldn't have any difficulty selling it and getting all of your money back.

    Good luck!
