Yes, true he was almost 102, but how do you not feel terrible at such a loss?   What a marvelous, fascinating character.

    Definitely a loss of a great talent.  That said living to 101 is a full life lived.  RIP Mr Ferlinghetti

    When I lived in Alameda, I use to go to City Lights book store and then hit up Vesuvio’s for drinks. I’ve always been a big fan of that era, Jack Kerouac, etc.. Taking drives out to Big Sur, good memories.. RIP LF

    City Lights is so, so cool.  I love that poetry room upstairs.  Man, it's been a few years... too long.
