2002 ten club t-shirt size chart

I was looking at the size chart of the 2020 t-shirts. I usually order M but in this case it says M chest would be 20????
my chest is 38 which would not even fit a 3XL...can someone hep me figure this out and pick the right size?

    They are giving out the chest width. Multiple it by two.

    Yes. That is my understanding. 
    Here in Europe its is more common to give the width of shirts. so I understand where the confusion comes from

    Im medium, but try not to go over 19inch which is loose. 18inch is usually perfect fit. 20 is large as far as im concerned.

    I've found the sizing is never correct.  Now I have no idea, I quit smoking 2 years ago, am living through a pandemic working mostly from home, I don't think they make sizes that would fit me at this point.  lol.  
    Don't come closer or I'll have to go
