If they close with Indifference, they should keep the house lights off. Just my two cents

But show doesn't feel officially "over" until YL. Even when they don't play it, there is always that hope that Mike will hang around on stage and start it. That hope that, we, in the stands can "encourage" it to happen. We're not hanging around screaming after the final bows hoping to hear Baba, Alive, Fuckin' Up, or RITFW- we're hoping to draw out YL.
And Indifference is kind of a downer to close on. I want YL or something uptempo.
For a moment there I thought this poll was going to be in relation to recorded songs... hard close vs. fade out. I'm a hard close/ definite ending kinda guy... the fade always make me wonder what freaky jam may then ensure that I am missing..!!
I ve I ve always thought release would be an amazing closing song.
Me too though lights on would be odd for that song I think but the sing along would be great. Indifference deserves to be a lights off song imo since it really sets the mood.
unpopular opinion PJ forum style: Indifference isn't even good and it's a debbie downer sad panda song. Quite possibly bottom 5 of the entire catalog and incredibly boring. Not sure why the love on the forums for it. If it makes an appearance would prefer it midset for a piss break and fresh beers.
I just listened to a 03' boot from a show in Japan yesterday during my run. E-Flow second song played. So weird! Kind of like E-Flow opening the 94' Orpheum show.

They closed out their Jazzfest 2010 set with Kick Out the Jams. I know festival set lists can be one-offs but it was a nice little change up from the norm.
I LOVE both songs, but as a closer, it has to be Yellow Ledbetter

I've seen the combo at least 4 times, and it never gets old for me.

Time to move on from RiTFW and Baba. Their own catalog is great.
