Totally agree! I’ve never listened to this band (actually forgot they did the song Popular), but for some reason picked this up at my record shop last spring, and it’s fantastic. So Much Love is a great song, and the album is superb.

Just discovered the deluxe edition on Apple Music. Pretty good!

I'm kinda in the same boat. Never really listened to them that much (don't own any of their albums) but i did like Popular. Every album they put out i usually like the singles I hear. Like "Whose Authority". "Always Love" and this year with "So Much Love"

Ive spent the past year being very nostalgic about the 90s and listening to a lot of old cds. Probably only bought about 20 records this whole year. Pretty much new stuff by bands I was listening to back in the 90s. My 2 favourite new tracks of 2020 by an artist Ive never been into before:
    Bleachers - Chinatown/ 45

I also prefer the rooftop versions from Electric Lady to the single versions.

Rock has gotten pretty stale in the past few years. For me, garage rock is the only bit thats still exciting. Even Indie rock has been pretty meh.

Didnt listen to a lot of new rock or hip hop this year which is odd for me.

Ventured out even more than usual in regards to artists but i guess a lot of it sounded alternative/indie.  A lot of pop seems to be turning indie in a weird way. I dont just mean Swift either.  Even electronic stuff.
