    Wasn’t 89.5 mon university’s radio?  88.9 was seton hall I believe.

    All those 88 89 stations were the best. Bluegrass, metal, whatever. I don't recall any pearl jam played on those frequencies. I do remember hearing a mlb song stardog champion and recording it on a mixed tape! I'd sit there and listen to all the hardcore shows too. I still love that song.

    I worked at 88.7fm WNHU in west haven, Ct for my 4 years in college. 88-92. Greatest time to be in college radio

    Awesome time for music. Thought you knew a thing or two about music when you knew added 'arf arf arf' to my Murphy's law comment a while back. My bud would get free tix to concerts all the time calling into those shows. Took me with him. Ministry, screaming trees, babes in toyland. Lots of great times.

    Nice! Was I giving away tickets to  all those shows in new haven clubs like Toads Place, The Moon, Tune Inn, etc. great time
