What do you think? What colour do you associate with the album? Wool-MAarble-grey or Title-treatment red I think for me.,

  • Probably green. Because purple made a lot of sense with Ten?

I guess people see the cover as sort of purple.

    But isn't it more maroon?

To me Vs. should be orange.  Like the CD.

Not iconic enough to be sold at Target.

But yeah i would want orange.  Blue never made any sense to me.

They call it "purple", but whatever you want to call it, the color matches the cover very well. So, in the end it made a lot of sense to me.

  • What's the reason for the purple release?  Is it something that indicates future coloured releases?

Falling into store exclusive versions, like other artist have done. Not very avant-garde or fan/consumer friendly. But I guess it pays the bills.

Store exclusive things, as a principle, sucks ass. With it being a North America-exclusive chain too. Should not be encouraged by the band, when they can do it in a different more fan/Consumer friendly way.

Yea, Sony doesn't care. Milk the cash cows, till they're out.

I just hope once they start down that road that they see it through...I have to admit I was quite disappointed when the super deluxe box sets stopped after the second one.
