    Is it live? Can't go wrong with Interstellar Overdrive/Corduroy.

    Two possible reasons;

    Corduroy could be considered a mid tempo ballad with great hooks and a lovely melody. So it's nice to wind down to a song like this after the working week.

    On the other hand, since it was released it's evolved into quite a rocking opener for pj shows. So it also serves as a highly charged song to get you in the mood for the weekend ahead.

    I consider Corduroy an edrenaline fuelled 'fight or flight' song.

    I was thinking yesterday what a great opening song/almost opening song it is. Maybe, it's a way to put yourself in weekend-as-a-concert mode?

    :D I don't care what anybody says, I LOVE Loverboy! :D

    Oh and mdige? I used to play Corduroy EVERY morning on my way to work AND EVERY night on the way home from work in my last year at work.

    I doubt I'd have gotten through without it. :)
    NOPE!!!

    Hey Jeanie,

    We decorated at work for Halloween and our floor was the 70s,80s and 90s. I hung up my "Get Lucky" album cover and oh the controvesary!!! The men were all up in arms about how "wrong" that cover is. So much fun :D

    haha! :D What's "wrong" about it? :D It's a cute butt! It's red, always a good color for an album and the pic speaks buckets about the times. :D

    Is it coz they recognized the pants and remembered they used to swan around in em? ;)
