Typewriter/Gunshots?

At the end of Binaural you can hear what sounds like a machine gun or a typewriter, but it sounds more like a silenced semi-automatic. I can come up with an explanation for the typewriter, but what if its is a gun? what does it mean? anything to do with riot act?

I believe it is called Writers Block and is in fact a typewriter... I don't know where I remember seeing that though...

of course you can't come up with an explanation for it being a gun because it makes no sense that it would be a gun and cause it's a typewriter.

if youve ever heard a typewriter being used, then you'd know it was a typewriter...pretty wierd rythym (can't spell) for a gun, too, if you think about it, and considering somewhere eddie has said about getting things onto the typewriter, kinda makes sense...
