I went to 3 in NYC. None had. I asked one of them if they will re-stock and he said no. They still have exclusive colored vinyl of other artists but PJ sells out quickly
No restock? That is interesting. Maybe these will not be as plentiful as we were hoping.

Reading all of this makes me glad I got it through Ten Club. I live in Manhattan and all of our Targets are really small - most of them near me don't sell records. I didn't know at the time that you had to get them in person. So, I will just wait for my Ten Club delivery.
I was told Sunday a shipment coming to Target. I went to 3 spots.

Yeah. I live down in the East Village - so that wasn't happening
Went to 3 targets. Nothing . Asked the dude in electronics about them at the 3rd store I went to and he said he expects them to get more in. Probably in a week or so.
"I got memories, I got shit"

That's odd. The guy I asked looked at me with a serious face and said no. I wonder if this will be like the Unplugged where they all of sudden find more under the cushions

I went to the one at 61st and Broadway and there was no vinyl section even though they kept telling me to go to the right of the electronics section

The one near Columbus Circle? I know that one is really new. Our Targets are pretty small around here compared to the suburbs. I think the biggest one I have been to is in that Fulton Mall in Brooklyn near the Barclays Center. The website said the Purple Ten is in stock there.

Yes it small. The one's at 117 and the Bronx are big. All the ones I went to said they were in stock but weren't when I got there. They still say in stock except for the one on Broadway. So I don't know
Here is how I got my Target vinyl yesterday (Central Florida area). It showed in stock and the employee asked me to show him the Target item webpage. Under Details and Show More there is a DPCI code. He then said he knew it was in the store and would find it. He was gone about 10 minutes and when he came back he had one in hand (MINE!) he said the shipper had put them all with the Black Friday stuff and it was very hard to find. In the back up way up high. That was the 5th store I had gone to, some tried to find it and had no luck and some just said the website wasn't updated. This employee went way above and beyond. This could be the issue. If you don't see it with the vinyl just ask them to look. The store I went to put them out and now they show sold out this morning, most of the other stores still show in stock. Good luck!
Went to two different targets in CT , same situations ,online says they are in stock but workers can not locate them in the back! Anyway 10c edition tracking saying it will be here Wednesday,,,,

That's awesome. I think the key will be if you can find an employee willing to help or not. At my store it showed "In Stock", even with the DPCI number, the guy in Electronics said it was "In Stock" on his device. He wasn't willing to look in the back for more than 3 minutes, though. I was like, "are you sure it's not in a different area in back or something." He just said, "No! We don't have it!" I did the look around the store for the cardboard display, in different departments, but none found. I'm not coming down on the Target employee. He probably has to deal with a lot of crap, and I wasn't going to pile on. Still a bummer if they aren't willing to look in back very hard for it.
I think they missed the ball on this one. This should have been a Target Exclusive Gigaton, not TEN... damn, how many copies of this record do I need.
One copy of Gigaton is enough. No need for a re-release of that one.

My brother hit Bethel and scored for me. Gonna check one more for fun.
What worked for me - check the Target site or app. It will tell you if they are in stock or not.
They are NOT in Electronics with the rest of the vinyl. They are in one of the black standalone displays for the holidays. (There are different ones all over the store.)
At my store, the display was by the kids clothes.
The display has a bunch of different colored vinyls on it.
My guess is if the app says in stock, and you've searched the store for the display - they probably haven't put the display out yet.
