“Making excuses for Brandon’s deceit.” Yup, we were all deceived, Brandon was on the ballot, was re-elected and is in a coma with a crisis actor in the role. Waaaaah, we didn’t get a primary and had to vote for a woman. And a black one at that. Dems suck and everything is their fault. Including who currently resides in the White House. The President, his family and leadership was hiding his decline from you and you didn't care because of your hatred for Trump. He had to be drug out of office kicking and screaming way too late in the game instead of doing the right thing, and eroded trust in the Dems.
You can be critical, in this the Brandon thread. I disagree with your opinion. Who’d you vote for?
Just for one moment, just one moment, you could call out bullshit on the left. That is the only reason I am posting here today.
Here were the choices as I see them:
1. Brandon runs in 2020, wins, is sworn in and after a year, maybe less, announces he’s not running for re-election. He immediately becomes a lame duck, Kamala is elevated as front runner due to her position of VP, dem candidates jockey for position and the infighting and messiness of three years gives repubs plenty of ammo and opportunity to criticize and block every effort at what the Brandon administration proposes. Nothing gets done, it’s a shit show as many potential dem candidates are current cabinet members.
2. Brandon holds off on announcing not running until after the midterms. Same thing happens but in a condensed calendar. Exploratory committees, fund raising, behind the scenes lobbying for endorsements and financial support typically happen well before 2-3 years to go until election day.
3. Brandon runs to get re-elected, wins, and steps down after a year, giving Kamala 3 years in the White House before running again in 2028 in her own right with her own record. That didn’t happen but may have been Brandon’s calculation. Maybe Brandon believed in the ‘Murican people to do the right thing GIVEN THE CHOICES BEFORE THEM? And had he won and served 4 years with the “shadow government” calling the shots, it would still be better than the current shit show if only because the people in the “shadow government” are/would have been “normal.” There is nothing “normal” about COOTWH and the repubs and their supporters. Both sides are not the same.
4. Brandon has a disastrous debate performance, withdraws, Kamala is anointed by the “shadow government”, debates a candidate who claims the other is “eating the pets of the people that live there,” and with all that we know of COOTWH, from 2015 forward, and more, plus the 2020 election shit in Georgia, smartmatic, Russia, Russia, Russia, 1/6, Project 2025, etc, etc, etc, the ‘Murican people are given a choice and 2,284,967 more ‘Muricans vote for COOTWH, with 49.8% of the vote, proving Brandon’s faith in the ‘Murican voter to do “the right thing” was misguided.
Brandon, in whatever state he was in as he ran for re-election was more qualified to be in office and most certainly so is/was Kamala, of which we had a choice. The fact that anyone is more upset with Brandon, Dr. Brandon, the dem political establishment, the “shadow government” or anyone else for how the dem candidate came to be, given the choices, the history, the context of the moment, rather than the repub party, their candidate and positions, repub, indie and non-voters, is, frankly, astounding and deeply disturbing, to me and doesn’t bode well for the future. At all.
You can blame Dems all you want but Repubs own this. It will take some serious pain for people to wake the fuck up but I’m not hopeful given the results of November 2024, what has occurred and what is occurring.
You can’t blame me nor will I apologize. I don’t “own” it. 1,328 days to go. Good fucking luck.
PS: Do you believe COOTWH calls all the shots, understands everything and has the capacity to address issues and govern or is Herr Miller, JD Byryder and/or others operating a “shadow government?”
It was just short of Weekend at Bernie’s and Biden would have stayed in the race if they finally weren’t forced to quit.I don’t bash Trump on here because it is a pro-Liberal board. When pro-Trump folks bring up Hunter, I bring up Trump’s family getting 100’s of millions from foreign parties invested in their schemes. When liberals on here overlook things like a zombie sitting in the Oval Office I will call that out too.
i believe he could have picked a better cabinet than trump could in a million years.
So if unelected people that don’t go through the debate process, that don’t have a public record, are delegated those difficult decisions because the president was not able, then that is a problem.
It can be a problem you don’t care about because you prefer his cabinet over Trump, but nonetheless a problem.Dems ask how someone could vote for Trump even if they don’t like the person. Well, you should understand that answer better now that it is clear people would vote for someone who isn’t their mentally because they don’t like the policies of the other candidate.0 -

I don't get the defense of Biden at this point. He wasn't totally gone, but he was well beyond what should be considered fit to be President. 12 straight years of someone too old for the highest office and I'm saying that based on physical and mental acuity of both of them, not at all because of their actual age. It could be possible for an 80 year old to be in excellent condition, but we really should cap government and SCOTUS at 75. McConnell is a shell and gets to serve out his term. Schumer is fading away. RBG died trying to cling to her position after she should have retired 5 years earlier. Many of them accomplished great things (McConnell's are mostly infamous) in their time, but it all gets diminished when you don't call it quits before you become physically and mentally unfit. It's a hopeless situation...0

Seems some might be feeling some guilt for what they’ve wrought.
When liberals on here overlook things like a zombie sitting in the Oval Office I will call that out too.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Normal comatose over crazy comatose? I’ll take normal every time. Regardless, that wasn’t the choice in November 2024. If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is.... I'm already gearing up to withstand the insane hypocrisy that this is going to result in. If I thought the GOP would do this using an even playing feild, I'd be all for it, as I do think the coverup that apparently took place is beyond alarming. But that is obviously not what's going to happen, and I already believe that their own similar coverup is in high gear, and it started around 2018 or so.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
