did he have a teleprompter or at the very least heavily rehearsed? likely. But this was the day after. And his unscripted moments were clear and concise. If someone is really in the kind of decline people here keep trying to convince themselves he was in, he wouldn't have been able to pull this off either:

Every painful minute. No one expected that, because they hid his condition. He never had performed that bad before in any public appearance
Read the articles. They are saying Biden didn’t recognize people he knew for decades. Had that come out around new years 2024, we’d have had primaries.None expect a debate performance like that. Even trump looked stunned how bad Biden was.0 -

He didn't trail off from a speech and start talking about sharks and magnets or how millions of people were dying in Ukraine. Or how Ukraine started a war, etc.Dementia is not a linear affliction. You could be horrible for a month, then great, then horrible again. Biden didn’t recognize people he knew for decades, in early 2024.
The sources defending the Biden team are “anonymous“ , lol. they were dishonest with us, and someone deserves to pay for this deception, instead they’ll keep their jobs making decisions for the various democratic campaign committees.0 -

cime of the century? haha. you people are just looking for a scapegoat of why trump's in the white house.…dementia symptoms can become more pronounced under stress. Stress can worsen dementia symptoms, especially those affecting attention, planning, and decision-making. This is likely due to the release of cortisol and other stress hormones, which can negatively impact memory and brain regions crucial for cognitive function.

Race and sexism played a part in her defeat. There was also the inability to separate from President Biden’s unpopularity, economic concerns and inflation, weak connection with key demographics, short campaign timeline, strategic missteps and messaging, cultural and ideological disconnect, loss of swing states and Trump's effective campaign.Post edited by DE4173 on1993: 11/22 Little Rock

All I can figure is that this scandal (and it is a legit scandal) definitely makes it so the right would have a harder time hiding any medical/cognitive issues with Trump, which is a good thing. Some of the details of this are pretty shocking and appalling.... I have to assume that Biden's aids etc really just wanted him to speak into the second term and then he would have stepped down and Harris would be President.... Now that I say it, geez, I really wish it had worked, haha. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

His recent interview on The View was a mixed bag. He did well by himself and had some good responses. Other times he'd get stuck mid-sentence and do his, "well anyway" safety net.
Dr Biden came out and had to tap in on President Biden's first question while they were together as he hit another roadblock. The other questions, his answers didn't seem to match the question. just went off the campaign script.
He took ownership of not getting the messaging out about all of his accomplishments while in office.
Took some tough questions and hung in there.

It's still crazy to me that for some incoherent feeble old guys shouldn't be president, but crazy incoherent old guys who spew nonsense should be. Bonkers.People will do anything to believe what they want, to protect themselves from Truth .That is our right. In addition to Bidens off the rails worst debate performance by any president, Biden personally knew Clooney for decades and he didnt recognize him. Clooney said it was so bad he was shaken to his core. So Clooney took two red eye flights within a day to stage a fundraiser for Biden, all to lie about something so obvious we all saw it clearly a few weeks later in that debate?
But I get it, we’ll interpret that any way we choose. Even if a handler had to in 2023 interrupt Bidens ramblings to end a press conference and… A September 2023 CNN poll showed that "more than half (56 percent) of Democrats — and nearly three-quarters of Americans (73 percent) said they were seriously concerned for Biden's physical and mental competence". The dude on here that likes dog goalies don’t like wiki quotes, but whatevs, I’m gonna use it. That polls D+17% lean exists here.0 -

Took some tough questions and hung in there.Answering tough questions doesn’t tell us much. Is it something he should have know, that didn’t cause stress? Something he could have been prepared to handle?Seeing trump on that debate stage, and the anger and hate involved, triggered stress for Biden, which caused a significant dementia incident. The discussion might be that his handlers protected him to limit these types of environments and incidents ,but it doesn’t mean that he didn’t have significant dementia while president, and it was covered up his last year in office.0 -
He took some tough questions. The answering portion of those tough questions were a whole other thing. The usual "well anyway," something along the lines of "I'll stop due to time" (uh, that's why you're on the show and he left time on the clock in the debate); the usual ripcord on the conversation parachute.
Of course having Dr. Biden answer for him was yet another clusterfuck, but
