    Has anyone measured the effectiveness of these efforts recently or do campaigns do it because they've always done it? Because I've been getting peppered with phone calls and texts and it's annoying as fuck.

    I got into a 15 minute discussion with a caller campaigning for the other candidate, it was pretty civil until the end when I hit her with a Deez Nuts joke to end the call.

    Since caller id (like 20 years ago) does anyone even answer their phone if they don't know who it is?  Lol.  They best put Mike and Jeff as the caller ID to hope anyone answers if they even believe it's them (And they know who they are - it might surprise some of us around here that not everyone knows who they are).

    Next Monday Ed and Stone will be telegraphing people with Mr. Morse to encourage them to take their horse and buggy down to the railroad station to meet Ole' Man Joe.
