Hey guys, does anyone know the origins of this Vitalogy tour shirt? It’s a bootleg (unofficial) correct? Were they selling them in the parking lot, etc.? Thanks!

    I’d like one too. I don’t remember seeing that shirt being sold at Soldier Field.

    I got it off eBay, seller had fantastic reviews and seems legit. Just wondering if anyone remembers seeing this shirt anywhere on the Vitalogy tour.

    Album covers on the back?  No way it was official in 1995, today absolutely.

    Right, I'm thinking it was a bootleg shirt sold in parking lots or something outside of a stadium. Just wondering if anyone who went to the Vitalogy tour remembers seeing it anywhere. Just curious.

    I never saw it. Love the bug from the tickets.
    While I think its cool, AND WANT ONE I think its unlikely from then if we've all never seen it.

    I saw a show in 95, and honestly I’m not sure if they even produced and sold an official tour shirt.  Official merchandise was very sparse that year.  Regardless, that particular shirt screams of bootleg.

    Right but is it a bootleg shirt from 95, or now?

    I've got the infamous Randall's island bootleg shirt from the parking lot, but I mean it was at the show, its a real shirt from the show.

    Oh I see.  Never heard of people making replicas of old bootleg shirts.  Is that a thing???

    I don’t doubt it is vintage from 95.  The bug design was used on tickets for multiple June and July 95 shows, including shows originally scheduled for July but cancelled and rescheduled for later dates.  Anyone who had a ticket could have designed the bootleg shirt.   It was probably sold at one location and in limited quantities.

    Thank you, I'm sure that's what happened. The wording and colors are becoming faded and the tag is messed up with a very small hole on the upper back neck. If it isn't vintage 95', this person did an incredible job at making a fake.
