Never been a fan of how these are packaged in those brown cardboard envelopes. Example above, your single slips to the bottom left of that envelope and the sleeve is messed up. Only bonus is a few things in this making it harder to bend.

I'm always worried when those Christmas vinyl singles are shipped in those mailers.

Finally got time to listen to these today.  Not sure what band played "Hunted Down" unless it's Pearl Jam being Not Pearl Jam.  That's cool, Neil did the same thing a number of times.  Interesting, once maybe. "Missing" is obviously more PJ than "Hunted Down" but I'm not really crazy about the demented sound.  But hey, can't blame  them for wanting to try something new.  Another one that will mostly sit it the 7" singles box.

Disc 2:  Eddie does a nice cover of "Wildflowers."  Cool sleeve and kind of fun to watch that off-centered label wobble while the record spins.    "Keep Me in Your Heart" is nice.  Wore label wobble- whoo hoo!  Would have preferred no choir on this but it's a thing aging rockers do sometimes.  (Neil did it too).  And David Sanborn is cool- a long and distinguished career, but that sax tone?  Is it me or is it kind of off somehow, like a plastic instrument maybe?

Well, hey, nothing to write home about, but all-in-all not a bad couple of seven inchers.

A package from PJ just appeared in my USPS informed delivery.  I haven't ordered anything recently, so I know it's the singles.
Now, I'm officially excited, knowing mine are on the way!

Hunted Down is an early Soundgarden track, and Missing is a solo Cornell track that was one of the "joke" song titles that Jeff Ament came up with for the prop cassette for Citizen Dick for the movie Singles that Chris famously wrote songs to those titles.

Hence the Cornell artwork on the front of the vinyl jacket.

I think he's commenting on Stone's solo take on Hunted Down as being not very PJ-y. Missing is live, so it is what it is. Maybe he didn't hear the boots (this mix is superior). Dude doesn't jive with them. NBD

    * I don't think they are gonna offer a box.

I bet they offer a box considering they could get one manufactured for less than $10 and sell them to us psychos for $50+ then rape us with another $15-$20 shipping. They’d literally be printing money.

+1 crammed in the box despite the note that says “don’t cram packages in my box” and the label that says “Do not bend.”
