    I bet the “christmas” singles will be sent out when they’re ready to be sent out. It is out of our control, but they’ll come when they’re done.

    Are the Vaults now going to be the new "annual" singles?  Almost 4 months since they were to start shipping and.. no shipping and no word about it.

    Dude. Every vinyl in the world is delayed. I'm not surprised a 4LP set that is pretty much pressed to order is as well.

    I'm not speaking to the singles, and I know their delay has caused a great many here PTSD, but let's not start freaking out about the Vault yet.

    The Weeknd just announced a reissue of his first album and they gave it a 1 year window until shipping.

    The original shipping date was "late winter" IIRC. As of last I heard, they were on target for March/April.

    Somehow Phish and every other band release vinyl on a regular basis.

    I don't love musictoday's customer service, but I guarantee that they would provide updates if they took money for something, then had a delay.

    Pearl Jam, ten club, etc does not care and has some of the worst customer service in the music world.

    Let me clarify, every plant is operating at capacity and many records are delayed. I imagine PJ thought they would get these quicker than what the plant was operating at. 


    Unless you plan well ahead, records won’t be out on release day. And a made to order record, doesn’t leave much room to plan ahead. I’m sure they can estimate though.

    If these singles were being made in house pressing plant capacity should NOT be the issue... Not giving a f#€k is the issue... perhaps a broken part on the record press.. but there’s no reason not to update about a merch piece 4 years delayed. Tell us something FFS.

    I'm not defending them. I'm telling people to chill on a record thats a few weeks over due and explaining why things are over due in general.

    They just plan better than 10c/PJ. But yeah, communication helps too. But we don't really get that.

    To be fair, we don't know the scope of "being made in house". Theres clearly a bigger issue with the holiday vinyl.

    It’s demoralizing to love a band so damn much and have their fan club (an extension of the band themselves) have so little regard for the fans that follow them so intensely.  A little bit of transparency would go a long long way. We know that problems can occur, mistakes can be made. We aren’t unforgiving, we just want to be treated with the smallest modicum of respect as part of the unwritten contract between artist and fan. Even the smallest of apologies for the delays and a tidbit of reason as for the cause. It’s disrespectful to keep us in the dark.

    All very strange. We were almost within touching distance of them. We saw the photos, they actually exist. A little communication would go a long way. At this point we are behind on 2017 and 2018 singles. 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Deep mags. Another possibility is that they will send all of these together but really who knows. People will be due all sorts of combinations but Id imagine they would be cheaper sent together.
