Yeah Trump is doing a great job politicizing the fires.  No downside to that...

It still does. In the physical world. The digital world is a different story.

They bring normal rational people together. The other 49% of the electorate is another story though.

Honestly...as a tax guy I don't see how they can cut more. I do support cuts for lower/middle income people with a corresponding increase on the upper brackets to offset it, but I guarantee that won't happen

posted this question on adbook a little bit ago. will report the answers I get. but its valid to ask here as well, I believe.

"Can someone on my friends list explain to me when it was that Reagans Supply Side Economics worked like we were told? You know, was I too drunk or high to notice when things trickled down to the average citizen?

coming in to 45 years since this idea began being hammered in to the nation. can anyone point me to verifiable data that shows this working as "designed" or stated?

As I see it, its working exactly like it was supposed to. however the image of trickle down suggested a pyramid filtering down to the broad base.

the reverse is true. the pyramid is inverted.  broad base at the top trickling down to the 1% and the .001%."

It didn't work. They keep saying it did because revenue did increase but the increase related to an economic increase that would have occurred regardless of tax cuts.

Tax cuts do not trickle down because the wealthy only need to consume enough to satisfy themselves. You can only buy so many cars, TVs, etc.

To me the reverse (trickle up) is more obvious. Put more money in the hands of the lower/middle class and they spend ALL of it. They consume as much as they can because they need EVERYTHING. The result is that manufacturers and wealthy owners of retail (i.e. Wal-Mart) rakes in the cash. Yes, that means the wealthy pay more tax but until the tax rate is 100% they still stuff their coffers.

That will be disturbing. And they will tie it to "wokeness" or DEI somehow. Very odd.

He wants to be able to just call on the military to squash any future protests or demonstrations or whatever unrest that might occur that doesn’t align with his agenda! After all he didn’t call on the NG to stomp on the agitators of 1/6 but call on them for the DC protest!
