god, every time I open facebook now there's just vile disgusting pigs posting jokes about renee good (not people I know, in groups that are meant to be fun). I don't understand how people can be so callous to laugh at the woman dying. I mean, I couldn't stand charlie kirk, but I still felt empathy for him and his family. These people are fucking sick.

People are garbage. We saw it with Kirk. We’re seeing it Renee and we’ll continue to see it every time a tragedy occurs that has a political aspect to it. Social media has ruined civilization. Not the democrats, not the republicans. It’s fucking disgusting. I’ll never understand that behavior

I often wonder, were people this awful before social media, and they just didn't act like it cuz it was in person? Or is it kind of that mob effect, where everyone is doing it, so you join in where you normally wouldn't? Or people feeling emboldened with no social consequence being behind a keyboard?

I'm not sure if social media ruined civilization, or if civilization ruined social media. it wasn't like this in the beginning.

I’d add reality TV has some fault in the state of our society! Look at how folks loved watching him on that idiotic show of his and carried him into the political spectrum

I was one of those. My wife and I actually found the Apprentice quite entertaining.

i agree. i think people being shitty has always been the case, but back then people had to work harder to show their shittiness. nowadays all they have to do is post a hot take, lol

I just never liked any reality tv shows at all

well, I did it again. Deleted instagram and I'm going to delete facebook in a couple weeks. I just have to give the 750 members of a (Headstones fan) group I created and run a chance to see my farewell message. 

I have no idea how many times I've done this. But I hope this is the final time. It's such a time suck and negative influence.
