At our wedding (almost 10 years ago), my wife walked down the aisle to "Maybe I'm Amazed" instrumental (P. McCartney).  I walked down to "Handbags & Gladrags" instrumental (Rod Stewart).   Our entrance song was Baba O'Reilly, and our first dance was "And I love Her" (Beatles).

    I played an acoustic guitar instrumental  version of Neil Young's "My Heart" at my mother's memorial service and a quiet, gentle acoustic instrumental version the J Mascis/ Dinosaur Jr song, "See You", at my father's memorial.

    My wife walked down the aisle to "Better Together" by Jack Johnson, and we had Neil's "Harvest Moon" while we were signing the paperwork.
    Our first dance was to Ben Lee's "Birthday Song"
