include 'Pilot' in their top 5 pj songs of all time? I know it sounds like an unusual choice but i could never get tired of hearing this song. I like songs that don't seem to make sense. It keeps you guessing what the song is actually about. The words just paint pictures in your mind like a dream.
Love the bridge before the final chorus;
Stunned by my own reflection
It's looking back, sees me too clearly
And I swore I'd never go there again
Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, you down, you down
For me this is the most reflective moment on Yield. Pilot is a beautiful song and one of my favourites.

absolutely. i love this song. i first really listened to it when i was sitting in the airport waiting for my plane to board to hawaii...it was the perfect vacation preparation song, and i completely agree on the bridge before the final chorus.

It's Pilate. As in Pontius.
I like that bridge, but I'm really not too keen on the rest of the song.
For me, Jeff & Stone have one good song and one bad song each on Yield. Pilate is Jeff's bad one.
All Those Yesterdays is Stone's.

shows that we are all different.....personally I love pilate....
And, all those yesterdays, is one of my favs from yield..the lyrics especially.
....still, these guys worst is still pretty damn good isn't it?
Except Sundays, that's Ed day.
The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work unless it's open. FZ
All...Those Yesterdays? That's actually the best song on Yield! And I like Pilate a lot more than Low Light. Sorry.
I'll Hold The Pain... Release...
Yourself
Thank you for correcting our esteemed colleague Mr WolfAWolf who was clearly drinking at the time he suggested ATY was Stone's "bad" song...that is absurd. I'm not suggesting it should be held in a higher light than Thin Air but it's a quality song. OTOH, you can't possibly hold Pilate above Low Light...that is blasphemy.
Peace.
Some unique songs in my top five include Of the Girl, You Are, and Slight of Hand, so Pilate can have its spot in your top if you want it
