Euro Tour Ticket Scam

I've just been scammed after being approached about a ticket I was after for next year's tour.

Person was posing as a Ashley Tracy although PayPal payment was too ruthjepp@yahoo.com.

She said she couldn't split the TM tickets up she bought, so asked me to buy both....alarm bells.
I declined and asked her to send me the money back.
She was busy, I insisted politely.
She went offline, gone...

Has anyone else suffered a similar fate?
If not, be aware pls

Unfortunately there seem to be many scammers when it comes to concert tickets. For the 2 shows in Frankfurt and Berlin safest way to buy is the official tickets.de exchange. For the other shows you need to be extra careful as there is no official ticket exchange.
I think you might have a chance to reclaim your money from PayPal. As far as I remember you need to file a case with their Resolution Centre and they will check if there is a traceable proof of delivery. If not, they should refund your money. Good luck!

fixed that for you. (edit: other than buying someones 10club extra by meeting at the venue)

Facebook seems to be filled with scammers. There are some who mass post on every possible event they can find how they "have two extras, but can't go"). Then when you look at their post history, they have 100's of similar posts in different events etc.

Of course if you can get a 10c and meet at the venue that would be the best option 😊. But Frankfurt is tough to get. And for the last months there also were no tickets in the exchange. It’s the first time they keep popping up there.

I said safest because you can also buy a tickets.de ticket from someone that transfers the ticket to your name (only costs a small fee). But as someone told me, that means that the tickets will stay in the sellers account. So that makes you dependent on the buyer if you e.g would want to transfer it again.

There are also scammers on other platforms. Did have some bad experiences on ebay classifieds looking for Frankfurt. But luckily didn’t lose any money.

This person was just trying this scam again the Vienna 2021 facebook page. Thanks for the heads up and they have now been removed. The name was flipped as Tracy Ashley. It was pretty obvious after a 2 minute conversation with them that something was up and this post actually jogged my memory.

Everyone it is a year out for these shows. Some shows are going to be tough getting tickets for but be careful and if it is too good to be true it probably is. There really is no reason for someone to have two 10C GA tickets for sale at this point in time. If a couple had two pairs for the same show and they are trying to sell their extra pair ask questions. Sure you want them but why are they not opting for the refund option at this time? Things like that should be an alarm. Single tickets will be harder to catch for fraud but get some references if possible and do not jump right away.
