Yeah I want the poster to be the focus and I’m cheap....so those two things work well together

Got mine over the weekend too / love the embossed DM.  I have looked at it about 20 times now though and just cannot locate a signature.  The number of the left is there (in faint pencil) but no signature.  Anyone else missing a sig?

The OKC has sort of thick glossy ink on certain colors that give the poster an added texture. Does anybody know what that’s called or how to describe it?

I can see Dan's signature in Dem's pic.  It's the pencil circular thing under the embossing.

He went with USPS in the end after all the waiting?

Yeah, I see the sig in Dem's pic too - just don't see it in mine.  Oh well.  Was just curious if anyone else had this issue.  Thanks.

Michael's needs to have a BOGO on those white Belmont frames. They are running a BOGO on another type that looks good, but the Belmont has that white faux wood frame thing going on.

Sorry.  We've just debated pencil versus marker or pen, and the pencil can definitely be harder to see.  I actually didn't see it in his original post and just noticed it when I went back and looked after you mentioned it.

Shit like that unfortunately just happens when artists are doing a mindless task like signing and numbering prints.  I have a few unsigned prints that were supposed to be signed.  I've ended up with a couple prints that had the same number as someone else from the same edition.

Yup it's all good.  I guess it sort of makes my AP more rare in a way...  Thanks for chiming in.

Looks like the Oakland "tour" allotment of posters finally sold out and they've now added the stack of "event" posters. I think this was the slowest selling 2020 poster of all.

I hear 'ya! But on second thought, maybe purple, orange and green velvet mats with a yellow frame WOULD look pretty snazzy.

    Spot gloss. And it’s cool.

I think it seems the obvious thing to do to try and match the colors in a poster with matching frame and mat, but I'm with you in terms of keeping it simple and letting the original piece of artwork, poster speak for it self with a black frame, white mat.

I feel like this is the lot that Oakland/SF gets in the poster world.  I have a marching elephants poster from 97 when PJ opened up for the Stones.  Outside of that, I have the 4 eyed cowboy (2013), boy holding bug (2003) and the hands breaking a missle (2006).  The Oakland/SF posters just don't intrigue me.  I love my EV oakland Star Wars poster but the PJ Oakland/SF posters have been pretty odd in the past.  I may have some of these dates off.  The Star Wars and Elephants are the only ones framed.

Nailed it....such a ridiculously low batting average when it comes to Bay Area posters.  I have the 4 eyed cowboy, elephants and the EV poster (error date).....and I bought the new poster because I was supposed to be there.  But really?  All of them are at best "meh" and at worst horrible....

Unfortunately we didn't get to see Chuck Sperry's Oakland poster... yet (maybe when show rescheduled).
