I contacted 10C to see if I could get a replacement poster sent my way. They noted that poster sales are as-is which I understood when purchasing but they did say they would make an exception.

So after a few emails back and forth the options I was given was to send it back for a refund minus shipping or destroy the poster into a million little pieces for a full refund.

The problem is is that I want a copy of this poster and it is only one per member.

They basically told me either keep the one you have or destroy it and get a refund but no replacement.

I guess I am keeping this defective poster rather than being forced to buy a replacement from a flipper.

Update. https://artesempre.com/ "Limited edition poster for Pearl Jam's world tour (postponed due to COVID-19). This is a limited run of 75 artist's proofs, hand-numbered, and stamped. Also contains a secret back print."
So it now appears confirmed that this AP poster is NOT signed by the artist - just hand-numbered and stamped. I noticed earlier today two of these APs already listed on eBay as "signed". In fact, one seller stated that "the poster IS signed" suggesting they were responding to the question asked here earlier as to whether the poster was signed or not. Funny...

That sucks man. Sorry that you are in the same boat. I don't understand why they can't just send out a new one.

Not everyone's been buying 10c posters forever. I find it surprising they won't send a replacement when we all know they have a stack of extras for mystery boxes. The artists themselves will usually send a replacement

I don’t find it surprising considering the item page specifically says posters are sold as is with no refunds. Yes it sucks and I’d be upset as well, but I wouldn’t be surprised since their policy is stated on every poster page.

The policy probably prevents an avalanche of exchange requests for microscopic flaws.

Yep...goddamn paper products are notoriously unreliable....
  • I always thought the policy is because prints could come back from the show with minor condition issues, either in handling or in transit to ten club, not because you could get a screwed up tube and be told too bad.

They could just use Priority Mail instead of UPS Innovations>USPS.  Then the tubes would be insured, and if it came with a ding, you could at least get your money back and maybe keep a print.  It's a business expense for them if it gets damaged, right?  They shouldn't care if you get a "free" damaged print because it got dented in transit in a thin tube with a one inch diameter, with the print rolled in the thinnest craft paper.

Agree. “As is” means the condition it was in at the time of the sale, to cover minor issues like a soft corner. If it then becomes severely damaged in transit, it’s no longer “as is.” They should make that right.

I received the Mumford, Erickson and Ames in England today as well. Mumford is the best of the three in my view

Did anyone actually get a tracking number from Mumford AP's ?

All that extra time & effort ensuring items don't get lost/delayed, and then no tracking information is provided.  Sigh.
