Just heard he passed Friday. Loved watching and listening to him over the years. Him and Dave Letterman together were the best.

    Great, great guy.  Very nice man.  

    Did a lot locally here without most people ever knowing.  Didn't publicize any of it.  

    TV misses that guy.  Every host today is pushing an agenda to the point where it’s their personality.

    I’ve always thought highly of those who do good without the desire for recognition.

    RIP Regis. Was on TV more  than any other person ever.  incredible.  Seemed like a genuinely good guy even for a ND fan.

    Lol so what?   So many of everyone's favorite “woke” celebrities used to like Trump before the politics.  He was everywhere.  There’s even a generation of kids who grew up knowing trump just from WWF appearances, let alone everything he hosted.  
    I don’t care what political party anyone belonged to.  I judge them by how they treated people.   I dont know when he was friends with him or for how long.  Regis was a likable, relatable talk show host and an extremely giving person when it came to causes and charities.  I’d hear the same stories about him everytime he was in town here.

    I don't know if they all liked trump. He was an ass back then too. Most just tolerated him. He wasn't running the country.

     Basically what im saying.  I have no idea how close he was to trump or this person or that person.  I dont really care.  Im in a town that unfortunately celebs flock to and he’s one of the few i never heard a bad word about. Always came off as a great person here so RIP Regis.  Weird to see these people dying.  
    Remember 20 yrs ago when everyone wanted the Regis tie?
