Man of the Hour

I've just lost a father-in-law on Friday and I didn't know how to express my feelings towards him. I'm not good on writing or standing in front of the croud (especially when I'm emotional). My husband and I love the movie Big Fish and always thought it reminded us of him (almost to the t). I suggested Man of the Hour to be played, but I'm not sure about it. I don't know if I want to link a song to such a sad time. Any thoughts??

go with your instincts... if that is how you wish to express yourself, do it and dont look back

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss. I never saw the movie so I don't know your relationship with him.

If you need to speak about him I guess it's best to focus on him - him with you, him with your spouse, him with whoever.

If this is not public, go to where you know he liked to be, and just say "Hello" or "Goodbye" whichever is best. If your relationship was really thick that may not work for many years. It's up to you, really.
