    So I think the question is, would they even play the VMAs? The fact that they only have 1 Grammy (musically) says a lot more about maybe these award shows want to award people that are interested in being on the show. But I’d love to see them do anything right now

    See I dont see it as "would they" as much as just showing a rock band (and happens to be my favorite) support to people that dont think rock deserves a platform. 

    Honestly I doubt it PJ would play but maybe if some mainstream outlets see support for rock we will get some more actual rock out there. And if they did play that's a bonus especially since we arent get much of anything these days.

    The audience for the MTV video awards don't want to see Pearl Jam, clearly.
