Dirty Frank is one of my favorite PJ songs, and one I can't resist singing along to when it plays. I was working in a story late at night, and listened to my Pearl Jam playlist. Dirty Frank played, and, at two am, I get into a very deep and philosophical state of mind. I heard the lyrics, and if you think about it, I think there might be a subtle comical association with the way Ed wrote the lyrics. It seems humorous to me, subtly. Nothing that will make me laugh a little per se, but there does seem to be humor associated with the lyrics. Again, this could also be a heavily metaphorical take on the life of a typical rockstar, hence, the mention of groupies. I see this song several different ways, and I thought I would share my views with you. What do you guys think?
