Benaroya Vinyl Trade **CLOSED**
***Thank you to everyone who inquired about a trade. This process could not have gone more smoothly, and it was great to interact with so many PJ vinyl-loving fans. Good luck to everyone looking to bolster their vinyl collection!
Hey everyone, hope all of you are well in these trying times. Up front please understand that I'm not looking to come out ahead or pose anything that violates trading rules here. I am simply seeing if I have something that someone else might need who in turn has some things that can also help me fill out my PJ vinyl collection. Absolutely not looking to set off a debate on what should / shouldn't be done or any sort of back door dealings - just hoping (perhaps in vain) that there is a scenario that works for both parties. I'm open to any suggestions from anyone here that might help facilitate things. And if it's a non-starter, please simply say so and I will explore other ways to add to my vinyl collection. Long shot but I figure that here amongst fellow PJ fans - and PJ vinyl collectors specifically - is the best place to start.
What I have: Two copies of Benaroya. One is opened (#7xx) and played by me fairly regularly - well cared for and sounds amazing. The second (#2xx) is sealed and was purchased years ago as a backup should anything ever happen to my main copy.
Here is the list of PJ vinyls I lack to get my collection where I want it:
Vault 1: Moore Theatre
Vault 2: Vic Theatre
Vault 4: Mount Baker Theatre
Vault 5: Aladdin Theatre
Vault 7: Soldier Field
Vault 8: Adams Centre
Vault 9: Mercer Centre
Pearl Jam Twenty (ideally colored version)
My hope is that someone with a robust collection - and ideally an affinity similar to mine for purchasing backup copies - is in a position to do a trade in which the value on both sides is even and fair. And even if something is agreed upon, I'm not exactly sure how we handle the actual exchange, but that bridge can hopefully be crossed should an agreement be reached.
Because I would ask the same question if I were reading this and didn't already have my Benaroya vinyl, I suppose that should a trade not be worked out one of my copies might be sold here. I don't really want to go down that road until any trade potential is completely eliminated, but perhaps it will soon be obvious that is the easier path to take.
Thanks for looking. Again, I'm really hoping that whether this is something that ultimately works any discussions can stay on point. Very happy to have an admin assist with the process wherever necessary.
Thanks!

Til he had more time,... more time...
Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,
To himself... I'll see you on the other side...

I sincerely hope they repress Benny. Standard Black is fine by me. That's the only way I'll ever spin it. Oh well.
Best of luck on finding a trading partner!
