    Oh Hobbes!

I also was a kid who wore many items purchased from Sears and Kmart. And Woolworth’s.

Blasts from the past. Bless our frugal parents

(DK, my mom wore gauchos in the ‘70s.)

I was a skinny girl. I did not wear big boy sizes, but shared pants with my brother for a bit. They could have been toughskins. I was 7 years old and in the 2nd grade. He was 3. My brother is a tall guy. (6'4") Somehow I missed height. Thanks to a bit o' shrinkage, I am a touch above 5'.

Brown corduroys. The backside split while I was doing a handstand in gym. (The split was originally started by my brother. Mom knew, but forgot to fix it. I never saw it when I put them on.) Todd Simpson told me that he could tell me what kind of underwear I was wearing that day. (White with lil flowers.) The nurse became a seamstress for a few.

@deadendp at a Brooklyn Cyclones game I was returning to my seat w some food and I hear a crack of the bat then a smack of flesh.  The ball that was hit then hit a person in his chest rolls right in front of me so I crouch down and spread my self wide to fend off the animals trying to get the ball that was at my feet and rrrrrrrip.

I get the ball and was excited I got it and felt a draft.  I look down and there is a rip from my crotch all the way to my knee.  My shorts now had air conditioning and sitting down without exposing myself became a chore, lol.

    Maybe. I don’t know.

They were comfortable as hell is what I remember most about them.

    Finally wearing the Champions.

They are way heavier than the Russells, they have a back pocket, and, indeed, they do have gathers at the ankle.

Agree I wear sweatpants at home in fall and winter all the Time but never go off my property with them. I cringe when I see guys out in sweatpants. Not a good look although strangely I don’t mind them on women. Well some women...
